Long Beach Review - Part Two

Here is the second half of my Long Beach Portfolio. All of these wonderful photos from the Washington State International Kite Festival last August were taken by Rick White. We thank him for sharing.

It is still raining here, so we aren't flying much. But we're celebrating Susie's birthday tonight. Drop her a line at Susan@GombergKites.com

We have had plenty of positive feedback on the heavy flying line we provide for larger kites. But occasionally someone asks about lighter stuff that has the strength but not the bulk or weight. In response to those requests, we are now offering a Premium Flying Line made from ultra-light Spectron..

We carry 1/8 and 3/16 inch stuff with a working strength of 1,800 and 3,800 pounds respectively. They weigh one-fourth the weight of dacron line in the same strength.

Spectron, like the lighter spectra lines you use for sport kites, is spendy. The 1,800 pound is 40 cents a foot and the 3,800 pound is 65 cents. We'll cut any length you want. So for 100 feet, they are $40 and $65 respectively. That's about 30% off the list price.
