Enroute to Cape Town, we'll stop for three days at the huge international festival in Dieppe France.
But wait -- there's more!
After five days in Cape Town and two at the festival, we'll head off for Port Elizabeth and the Kite Safari. Our destination is Kareiga Game Reserve where they boast "abundant game and wildlife such as lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhino, hippo, giraffe, zebra, eland, wildebeest, waterbuck and a variety of antelope, as well as a myriad of bird species."
We'll tour the parks in open Land Rovers, and ride horses to the beach. And maybe, just maybe, we'll get chased by an Elephant or Rhino... (Click here for the rest of that story.)
What the price?? About $2900 per person for hotels, guides, domestic transfers and transportation, and most meals in South Africa. International airfare and the Dieppe add-on are extra. Let us know if you are interested.
We've been to South Africa twice. We look forward to renewing friendships and spending time in a country with incredible vistas, a rich culture, and warm, wonderful people. Check our Updates from April 2002 and September 2004.
